Co-founded by Alessia and Sarah and known for designing timeless residences, reDesign home serves clients across the United States and in Italy from its two locations – Chicago and Detroit. Our Chicago studio creates comfortable yet elevated spaces through full service design, rooted in a love of quality craftsmanship and carefully curated, original details.
reDesign home Chicago designs for everyday life by developing functional layouts with beautiful interiors that reflect the lifestyle and needs of the client. Our full-service design process guides homeowners from conceptual design through finish selection, furnishing, and décor. Thoughtful space planning infused with the patina of vintage finds and a subtle, European influence results in unique, collected interiors to be enjoyed with family and friends for years to come.

reDesign home Chicago provides full service interior design, collaborating alongside architects, general contractors, and trades people to bring new builds and extensive renovations to life. Known for our expertise in kitchens and bathrooms but with experience in the whole home, our designs include custom cabinetry, selection of materials and finishes, custom furniture and window treatments, space planning, furnishing, decor, and styling.

ALESSIA ZANCHI LOFFREDO
A Roman with American roots, Alessia was born in Michigan but moved to Rome with her parents at the age of three, eventually earning a degree in Design and Survey in Italy.
She began her career at Studio Dedalos Ingegnere Firm in downtown Rome until 2001, when she relocated to the USA, pursuing a job opportunity at a commercial and retail design firm.
In this role, Alessia met Sarah – the head of reDesign home’s Detroit location. Alessia and Sarah became immediate friends and cemented a functional working relationship, sharing a similar style and complementary strengths. When the time was right, the duo took the leap together and founded reDesign home.
